Project Management

Effective project management enables all of the project team to be aware of and to participate in the processes that support management of the project

CC Tracker supplies the collaboration and process management for your teams to implement Issue, Risk, Lessons Learned and Quality Logs in your projects following Prince2 management practices.

All of the logs can be viewed on a project by project or programme basis and access is controlled according to group membership.

  • Issue Log. The complete process management for the entry, management and resolution of issues through the life of a project whether raised against the product or the project. Read the Issue Manager page for full information of this function.
  • Risk Log. A register of the risks that can be cross referenced with Issues. Process management ensures that risks are reviewed and reports show the outstanding items. Users have clear visibility of the risks that they have ownership of. The structured form ensures that a systematic approach is taken to risk evaluation. Reminders can be set and tied to alerts to ensure that risks are reconsidered at appropriate intervals.
  • Lessons Learned Log. Lessons can be quickly recorded during a project at stage completion or other key points to capture the knowledge for sharing in the future. Formal types of data allow structured reports to be produced across all projects in an organisation.
  • Quality Logs. This contains a log of all quality checking done throughout a project, CC Tracker enables staff with appropriate permissions to create the plans, enter test results and sign off the work. Where a quality check raises a project issue this is created with a link to the quality log, the status of the issue is visible within the quality log and when this issue is cleared the member of staff with responsibility for the quality log will be notified.
